What CBAS does
Proactive and advanced tax planning
Strategy designed ahead of the year it applies to, then implemented and maintained. The work is the planning, not the paperwork that follows it.
What CBAS does not do
Stand-alone tax preparation
Naming it is the point. A veterinarian shopping for a return is better served elsewhere, and saying so here saves you both the call.
CBAS prepares tax returns as part of a tax planning engagement. Clients may also retain their current CPA for tax preparation and traditional accounting services while CBAS provides planning and coordinates with that CPA.

The shift to advisory
The firm grows, and the work that moves the needle turns out not to be compliance. Holly shifts toward helping practice owners improve cash flow, strengthen operations, and plan ahead.
2024
A boutique advisory practice
The firm merges, and Holly transitions fully into boutique advisory and advanced tax planning for veterinary practice owners.
